Rencontres is madness
Well, the Rencontres d’Arles photography festival has started and I’m not there. But Cyril Costilhes and Diada are, which is a good chunk of Mindfist, and so is the Dr Karanka’s Print Stravaganza (which by now weights 10kg and has an unknown number of contributors) including a filming crew from Italy who have spent this week staying at mine in Cardiff. Great times, mad times.
Arles is one of those places where you can smell photographs in every corner and this year is going to be pretty special, with curation from Nan Goldin. A good year for my mad fellows of Mindfist to do their anarchistic exhibition bits and bobs there.
